Unlike many who follow a traditional corporate path, he has built a diverse career guided by a clear purpose: to share knowledge and make a meaningful impact on society.

With a doctorate in engineering and an MBA earned later in his career, Dr. Corcoran combines deep technical expertise with a sharp understanding of business strategy and organisational dynamics. His work focuses on purpose-driven leadership, innovation, technology-led transformation, and the power of continuous learning — themes he explores passionately in his writing and speaking engagements around the world.

Throughout his career, he has held senior executive roles as a Founder, CEO, and Managing Director, working across a wide range of sectors including FTSE 250 and AIM-listed PLCs, SMEs, joint ventures, and charities. This breadth of experience gives him a unique, cross-sector perspective on what it truly takes to lead, innovate and inspire.

In 2019, he founded Interimconsult, a consultancy dedicated to using business as a force for good. Through its "1% Make a Difference Commitment," the company donates 1% of its sales to community charities — a testament to his belief that leadership is about creating value not only for organisations, but for society as a whole.
